Low MOQ Clothing Manufacturing in Pakistan: How to Request a Quote

A low minimum order quantity can help a clothing brand test a product, but the number alone does not explain the order. When comparing a Pakistan apparel manufacturer, ask whether the minimum applies to a style, colour, fabric, size combination, or the total purchase order.
Why minimum quantities differ
An existing fabric and a simple decoration method may allow a different order structure from custom-dyed material, special knitting, or a bespoke trim. Your garment quantity may also differ from the minimum purchase requirement for a particular material. Ask the supplier to separate these constraints in the quotation.
Provide a clear quantity breakdown
List units by style, colour, and size. Include the requested fabric composition and weight, print or embroidery specifications, labelling, and packaging. If flexibility is possible, state whether you can consolidate colourways or use an available material. This helps a supplier propose options without silently changing your brief.
Compare the total order cost
- Sample development and any revision fees.
- Garment price and the quantity assumptions behind it.
- Artwork setup, labels, packaging, and special materials.
- Inspection, testing, freight, and destination charges where applicable.
- Payment stages, quotation validity, and the agreed delivery basis.
Quotes are comparable only when their scope matches. Confirm the named place and responsibilities if an Incoterm is used. Ask your freight forwarder or importer to explain costs that sit outside the manufacturer's quotation.
Plan a repeat order from the beginning
Keep approved patterns, size charts, artwork, and material references organised. Discuss whether fabric availability could change between orders and how a replacement would be approved. A smaller initial order reduces inventory exposure but does not remove development or quality-control work.
Questions to ask before paying a deposit
What is the confirmed minimum for this exact specification? Which materials are included? When does the production schedule begin? What happens if a material is unavailable? Which sample is the production reference? Get answers in the written order confirmation.
